As Ignorant As Republicans Are, They Still Mostly Understand that Nazis are Evil
If you don't want to get called a fascist, then stop doing fascist shit
Hello Friends,
This is one of those mornings where I don't feel like being disgusted and afraid with everything that's going on in the world. America is burning, but this is a “pull out the marshmallows” kind of day.
Every now and then we have to alternate our despair with mockery, and if anyone deserves to be mocked, it's the nazis.
Unfortunately, every time I turn on the television, it seems like I have to stare into the face of another nazi who wants to slowly and deliberately explain some stupid shit right up until the moment people start pushing back on him and he bursts into tears.
As bad as things are today, we have to take some hope in the fact that even the nazis hate it when you call them nazis.
“Being a nazi is wrong.”
“But I'm not a nazi and it hurts my feelings when you say that.”
“I never mentioned you. I made a simple declarative statement. Why did you think it was about you?”
The guilty conscience of the current political movement is not my problem. At some point maybe they'll figure out that the answer to all their problems isn't to turn around and punish all the innocent people in the world.
Over the last few election cycles, we've seen how astonishingly ignorant the American population actually is. They're ignorant, they're entitled, they've got an undeserved sense of superiority.
At this point, a few people are going to stomp in and whine, “Don't group me in with the rest of them, I didn't vote for that jerk.”
Are you done? Because obviously this tirade isn't about you, so quit eroding my momentum.
It doesn't matter who you voted for. When the history books are written about this odious time (assuming we still have history books after this debacle), there's not going to be an asterisk for the people who failed to get a decent human being elected. We'll be grouped in with the rest of them, just like we're currently grouped in to endure the misery of this hateful regime.
I frankly don't care who made the mess. It's time to clean it up.
Also, don't act like it was just one candidate in one election. There are plenty of completely deplorable human beings at every level of government. It's like 50/50. In fact, more than half of the “good” ones are pretty much shit too.
We elect assholes. They all came from money. They never worked for a living. They went to private schools that siphoned money from public funding so that they could keep segregation alive.
We need more waitresses in politics. We need more dump truck drivers. We need more teachers. We need people who know what it feels like to get to the end of the month and realize you don't have enough to pay all your bills.
But for some reason, working class people get all riled up to give power to the absolute scum of humanity. They give power to sphincter mouth sexual predators who clearly have never so much as held an elevator door open for somebody who hailed them.
I mean... it's obvious.
The worst part is that if you peruse the headlines of corporate owned media, you occasionally see stories of these people getting arrested for raping children. I'm not even joking. Of course, the headlines are all “propositioned underage woman” instead of GOP POLITICIAN TRIES TO RAPE CHILD.
When it comes to the second form of headline, the media reserves that for false accusations against actually decent people. Again and again and again and again.
But at least, in the midst of this, the one silver lining that might create a spark that will ignite the torch that can illuminate the way to a better future, is the fact that as ignorant and entitled and as awful as Americans are, they still, when pushed, will admit that nazis suck.
Why does that bring me hope?
Because it shows that this mass of flawed human beings who have already voluntarily chosen the way of pain over the way of prosperity (thousands of times), are capable of LEARNING SOMETHING.
The question is, at what point will they stop resisting?
At what point will the bubble break?
I mean, even our very worst politicians know that they can't go in front of rooms of people and praise Hitler. So, they try to sneak up on it. Instead of invoking his name directly, they just drone on and on and on about nazi-adjacent policies.
You know, like attacking immigrants, burning books, expanding the territory of the “fatherland,” defying the courts.
It goes on and on and on, it's all nazi shit. They keep pushing, and quite a few people in our population keep making excuses for them even though the truth is becoming more and more clear.
They say things like, “That wasn't a nazi salute.”
“Which one?”
“All six of them. They were all not nazi salutes.”
Like, at this point why are you denying it? Instead of all this denial, the reporters should pivot and start saying how nazis were bad. Then they should start listing off every nazi policy point so that the general public might start to realize that... gee, it sure seems like the current administration is following the nazi playbook.
But reporters won't do that because they're corporate owned, we've been over this already.
Again, despite all that, the American public still has it pretty well hardwired into their brains that nazis are bad. I expect that there is more than one organization in the United States actively working to change the perception of nazis. In fact, I know that's true. But I don't think they're going to succeed.
They're nazi sympathizers, failure is what they do best.
Nobody fails as hard as these assholes.
Now, look around and watch America burn. Veterans are getting laid off by the tens of thousands. The stock market is crashing. The nazis are looking to steal our social security because they want us to have to work until our last breath to help them support their worthless, money-pit, nazi shit.
But as willfully ignorant and proud as Americans are, I don't think they're going to stand for that.
As willfully ignorant and proud as Americans are, they've learned that nazis are evil.
We failed the test in 2024.
We're having a little refresher course in 2025.
But nazis aren't making a comeback. Pretty soon they're going to crawl back into their bunkers and die.

How does one explain to the willfully ignorant that they are ignorant, when they’re so ignorant that they don’t know that they’re ignorant?
Thank you for saying what the media won’t. I pegged this asshole as a Nazi during his first campaign ( didn’t know much of him before except a mouthy game show guy). That was 2016. Started saying it out loud the following year. I got nods. I naively thought we had seen the last of him by 2020. Little did I know. Has any Nazi led their people in power when they were out of power ? Two assassination attempts and a record number of felonies, then back in power? He and Elonka are the very definition of white supremists. I’m curious if Americans can seek asylum to a real democracy…?
