Christian Fascism Schools Indoctrinate Our Children With Their Authoritarian, Forced-Birth Agenda
We have to protect our children from the true predators in our society
As we pulled up to the Christian school, I noticed that there was some sort of a display in front of the building. The Christian school is nestled halfway between the public high school and middle school where my daughters go.
We live in Wisconsin. Wisconsin has a school voucher program that funnels hundreds of millions of dollars away from public school every year and sends that money to Christian private schools.
It's part of the Christian war on poor people. They take money from kids who need it the most and give it to themselves. They also use this taxpayer money to make displays on the school grounds to promote their authoritarian agenda. As a taxpayer, this system infringes on my right to religious freedom.
But nobody cares.
We were coming up on the display from behind. There was no way to avoid it as I tried to get my kids to school. Forcing this message into our faces was the whole point. From our approach, I couldn't see what the display was about, but I suspected I wouldn't approve.
“That's a Catholic school, so you can 100% guarantee that whatever they've put out on their yard will contain some hateful, anti-woman messaging.”
“Oh dad,” my eldest daughter said.
But then we went by the display. It was a bunch of pink and blue flags that had been stuck into the grass. There was a banner that claimed every flag represented a baby that had been aborted.
“See?” I said.
“Oh,” my eldest daughter said again. “I guess you were right.”
“I hope you remember this,” I said. “Remember that Christians don't want women in positions of leadership. They prohibit it. They are also against allowing women to have access to life saving reproductive health care. Hundreds of years ago, Christians used to burn women at the stake. Abortion bans are the modern equivalent.”
“But didn't they burn witches?” my youngest said.
“No,” I replied. “Because there is no such things as a witch. Christians use hate speech like the language of sin to demonize all the people they want to oppress and exploit. You'll notice they denounce sin, but they never denounce or even recognize the crimes of the church.”
“Daddy,” my youngest asked, “what's an 'abortion?'”
This was 8AM on a Monday morning. I had a big day ahead of me. My passenger side wheel has been making a squeaking sound which suggests there's something wrong with the brakes. I'd been looking forward to a quiet, uneventful drive with my young daughters. But now, against my will, the Catholic school had forced me to have a discussion about abortion.
Thanks a lot you fucking assholes.
It didn't escape my notice that the display faced the street. It didn't face the school. The kids who attended that school didn't have to look at it, only the people who used the public road and the public school.
Why do they always exempt themselves from the rules they try to impose on the rest of us?
Why don't they ever put out displays with flags that symbolize all the little children that were raped by priests?
As I dropped my kids off at school, I found myself wondering what I could do. Initially, I was so angry that I went home. I went through my regular routine. I wrote my articles and I went to the gym.
But when I got done with the gym, I decided to swing past the school and take a few pictures. Even doing that, I thought the Catholic school was likely to call the cops and report me. You see, we live within a restrictive cone of silence. You aren't allowed to speak out against the Catholic church, even when they do things that are deplorable.
They're stealing money from public schools! Why isn't that front page news. It's disgusting. Yeah, every now and then some church puts together a backpack drive, but that's peanuts compared to the funds they harvest for themselves.
Every time there's a national emergency, the Catholics send their “thoughts and prayers.” But try handing out thoughts and prayers when the priests pass the collection plate around. They look at you like JD Vance when somebody calls him out on one of his lies. They say, “Really?” and they shake their head, and they call you a sinner, and they'll slap you on the wrist if they can. The one thing they never do is recognize their own hypocrisy.
Women are dying in America because of the repressive and hateful ideology of Catholic assholes. They're the ones who got Roe repealed. They're the reason children who have been raped by their stepfathers are forced to bleed out in the parking lots because doctors are too afraid to treat their miscarriage.
The level of cruelty and hate espoused by the Catholic church is unforgiveable.
But I'm sure that if the public school put out a display representing all the women that have died as a result of abortion bans, there would be an immediate outcry, and that display would be removed.
Our society allows Christians to indoctrinate our children with their authoritarian, forced-birth agenda, and decent people are never allowed to respond. This is corruption at its worst.
For too long, the prevailing attitude has been that we should allow religious people to have their delusions. That's fine. If you go off into the woods you can think whatever you want. But the line has to be drawn at the point where these hateful psychopaths begin to ram their false ideology into the faces of our kids.
I did not decide to have a discussion about abortion with my children that morning. Christians forced that on me. They did it to me against my will. They think that I have no recourse, but I'll show them.
I've spent the last two days figuring out my response. The first thing I'll say is that I will not engage in any form of vandalism or violence. Those are the tactics of the people that oppose me. Those are not my tactics. I'm law abiding. I'm respectful.
I considered going to the school and making a complaint in person, but I decided against that too. I expect that they might have called the the police on me, and that they might lie. After all, lying is fundamental to the Christian ideology. They claim they know the word of God after all. They don't. That's a lie.
I know that the police are likely to be on their side, so there's no point in reporting this incident to them. All that would do is leave a target on my back.
Eventually, I decided to do two things.
Use my followings on various platforms to expose the hate ideology of Christianity
Report the school to the Wisconsin DPI
It's game on now assholes. But the thing I want to make clear is that every article I write to denounce and expose the evils of Christianity is a consequence of Christian harassment against me and my children. Christians do not respect my beliefs. They deliberately work to sabotage public education. They work to transform our laws so as to subject women to horrific punishments and painful deaths.
The Christian ideology is an ideology of evil. If you're a part of that faith, you should consider renouncing it for the sake of your immortal soul.
If you would like to send them a message about how it's inappropriate to force children to see repugnant displays denouncing a woman's right to reproductive healthcare, you should.
I strongly believe that we won't be able to completely defeat racism, misogyny, or authoritarian fascism until our society has recognized that the Catholic church represents a fraudulent and oppressive hate ideology.
If “god” actually represented love, there would be no threat of burning for all eternity. This is an ideology of abuse, and it's time we stopped giving them exceptions to all the rules of decency that have made such a positive impact on the lives of historically marginalized groups.
Oh, and did you know that priests often get exemptions from being mandated reporters. They're allowed to sit in the confession booth, hear stories of child rape, and do NOTHING. If you stand with the Catholic church, you stand with an organization that is committed to enabling the abuse of women and children.
That's a god damned fact. Maybe I'll put that on a banner in my yard with a bunch of little flags representing all the people who have had their lives destroyed by Christianity... unfortunately my yard isn't big enough to represent them all.

Disclosure: I left the Catholic Church long ago. Your comment about erecting flags for the victims of Catholic priest pedophilia resonates with me because there's a Catholic Church a few blocks from our house which has a faux tombstone on its front lawn that says, "In Memory of the Unborn." Everytime I pass it, I feel like spray painting on it, "And the thousands of victims of Catholic priest pedophilia, including many who committed suicide." Unfortunately, there's not enough room for that. Plus, I'd probably get arrested. The Catholic Church is a criminal organization that shielded pedophiles from justice for decades. And now many dioceses are declaring bankruptcy because of the financial strain of paying pedophile settlemens, yet that claim, with a straight face, that, "None of your donations to the Church go towards litigation settlements." Yeah, right. Screw the Catholic Church!
George Carlin has a great number on the religion scam. The best line is - God is all powerful, all knowing but he just can’t handle money. He always needs more money.
Carlin had a great ability to cut through the deceit.
