Help Me Force Humanitarian Perspectives Into the National Media—The Week of 5/22 to 5/28
Supporting well-funded status quo celebrity journalists only enables authoritarianism
Hello Friends,
A couple of weeks ago, Jim Acosta used his platform to elevate James Carville. In my opinion, James Carville is openly racist. He’s the guy who told Obama to go take a toke on a crack pipe.
One way I differ from Jim Acosta is that I make a deliberate effort to platform members of the Black community. The majority of them tell me that they’re deeply offended by James Carville. When they see his face or hear his quote it underscores the perspective that Democrats do not care about the Black community.
James Carville sabotages us. Yet our establishment media continues to act like it’s acceptable to platform him. Remember, there is only a limited amount of media time. Acosta could have used his clout and celebrity to elevate somebody like Francesca Hong or Emily Berge or anyone else on my list. Instead, he chose to normalize the rhetoric of 1850s Democrat Carville.
That makes me want to pull out my hair with frustration.
If we are ever going to get out of this authoritarian nightmare, we are all going to have to confront the various ways we’re conditioned to tolerate narcissistic abuse. One of the most powerful ways to make a change is to send a message when a celebrity does something unacceptable by withdrawing your financial support.
Even on independent media, there are publications that have access to all sorts of funding. These are privileged publications that have had all the obstacles removed and which are given resources for advertising. They don’t need your support.
Instead, consider supporting humanitarian publications like mine. I appreciate all my sponsors, but I think you’d be astonished by how little I make. I’m just a regular dad and a high school English teacher who is fed up with the corruption and the injustice of our time. I don’t spend any money on advertising, and if you’ve found me it’s because you’ve overcome every obstacle put in your way by the malicious, gatekeepers of the Epstein class.
What I’m trying to do is establish representation for humanitarian ideas. Our national media doesn’t spend nearly enough time discussing the horrors of child abuse and the institutions that are responsible for enabling it. At best, we have publications who target the loathsome creature in the Oval Office. But we’re not going to make any progress until everyone realizes that he is only a distraction.
We have to shift our focus to the enablers. That includes celebrity journalists who casually platform men who are openly racist.
We’re right in the middle of the primaries and only a few months away from the midterms. I’m going to continue to do my best to elevate quality candidates. I’m also going to continue to be a think tank on how to inject humanitarian concepts into our national discourse.
For too long, we’ve been trauma bonded with conservative ideology. The nation considers it the default, and that’s why they reject compassionate and qualified people. We have to reeducate our whole population. We have to convince the people that we should stop repeating the confederate era lie that “government can’t be trusted,” and recognize it’s our right to elevate leaders who believe in kindness and decency.
You’re not going to get that from people who elevate racists. You’re not going to get that from millionaire funded platforms that want to denounce MAGA while maintaining a conservative status quo.
Friends, we need something DIFFERENT!
I realize that everyone is currently the target of economic terrorism. That’s by design. But in moments like these, it especially doesn’t make sense to sponsor the writing of the millionaire class. They get their funding from shadow sources. I get my funding from YOU! That’s why I send a message thanking every new supporter. That’s why I do my best to at least like, and often reply to all your comments.
I’m not a post and ghost guy. I really don’t know why anyone would support the publications that don’t care about you other than to take your money.
I always offer this list of discount tiers.
If even these are too much but you’d really like to help out, I have both a $20 and a $10 yearly option. If you want me to send you those, please send me a direct message. I’d love to have more paying sponsors because it helps counter some of the algorithmic suppression I face. It also ensures that you’ll continue to receive my emails, and you won’t get mysteriously removed from my list (it’s not me removing emails).
As summer hits, I’m going to reduce my output slightly, but I’ll still be interviewing and supporting candidates. The main thing these last two years have shown is that we have a LOT of work to do as a society. We aren’t going to make progress by supporting millionaire journalists or status quo politicians. We need new voices and new leadership. As always, thank you for making this work possible. 🙏❤️💯

Thank you, Walter, for bringing this to light. I will more closely review whom I am supporting. I read about some sources of sponsored monies to candidates and media sources that are harder to uncover, making it tougher to vet everyone fully. The elite find ways to insinuate their power grab under layers of deceit.
The minute i get a job-you are getting my subscription-you have earned a million of them. Please keep g3oing-we desperately need you.
