It was my pleasure to sit down with Tommy Holstein and my good friend A. Eevie Bateman. I found Tommy to be thoughtful and willing to listen to our concerns about the future of our country. It struck me how he would often pause and consider how to answer before speaking. That’s good because it means he was not deferring to predetermined talking points.
The more I do interviews with the new generation of candidates, the more hopeful I become. We have people of integrity who are fed up with the way our government has been mistreating us. They are getting out into the community and making their perspective known. It’s glorious.
