Our Society Is Now Officially the Opposite of "Woke"
Nobody defined the term except to say that it was “bad,” let's revisit that concept
Hello Friends,
In November of 2024, the American public rejected the concept of “woke.” It was by a narrow margin, and there were bomb threats called in to liberal areas to interfere with the voting.
For some reason, we don't talk about the bomb threats even though that's an irrefutable case of election interference. Who called them in? Are those responsible in jail? Why doesn't anybody seem to care?

Today, we live in a society that is the opposite of “woke.”
The problem is that throughout the election cycle, even though so many people living in rural areas became enraged by “woke,” nobody ever sat down to tell us what the word means.
So, let's figure it out through the process of elimination.
Again, the United States population voted against “woke.” Today, we're living in the opposite of “woke.” This is what the people voted for. This is our reality now.
We have a crashing stock market. Therefore, when the stock market crashes, it's the opposite of “woke.”
From that we can conclude that “woke” means a healthy stock market. It means prosperity for all. It means you get to retire. It means you have a chance at spending your golden years as the master of your time.
In contrast, our current society provides little hope of retirement. The opposite of “woke,” which is what Republicans stand for, means that you have to work until the end of your days. Your life will only last as long as your usefulness to a cruel billionaire.
The opposite of “woke” means the dismantling of the department of education. The current government is eliminating programs that were put in place to help your children.
Education has long been seen as the pathway to prosperity.
We're talking about prosperity for your kids.
The current government doesn't want that. They want to strip your children of opportunities.
Therefore, prosperity for your children is “woke.”
Republicans become unreasonably angry at the idea of spending tax money to offer free school lunches. Therefore, feeding American children is “woke.”
Instead, Republicans would prefer to spend taxpayer money on foreign death camps. We send our taxpayer dollars abroad to cruel dictators. That's the opposite of “woke.”
The current administration has attacked the concept of birthright citizenship. Apparently birthright citizenship is “woke.”
Our citizenship represents our fundamental protection against the abuses of a tyrannical government. We are citizens. Therefore we are entitled to certain unalienable rights. That's kind of the whole point.
We get life.
We get liberty.
We get the pursuit of happiness.
These rights are protected through citizenship. The government wants to remove our birthright citizenship. Apparently that means all those rights are “woke.”
Oddly, nobody seems to be talking about the powers that are established if the government starts revoking citizenship. For now they're only targeting people who were born here to immigrant parents.
For now.
For now.
Again, nobody has ever defined “woke.” So, we have to infer what we can from the negative spaces. If the government is attacking one form of citizenship, there's no reason to assume they won't attack another.
Oh, and how could I forget the high price of eggs? Egg prices haven't gone down. So, we can infer that low egg prices is “woke.”
See the earlier note about how much Republicans hate to feed American children. Apparently the opposite of “woke” means that the price of eggs will remain perpetually high, so that children don't have eggs to eat.
What else is “woke,” based on the actions of our government?
Due process
Freedom of speech
The right to protest
The judicial branch of our government
The legislative branch of our government
Worker protections
Global trade
Elections
Law and order
The Constitution
What's “not woke?”
Using a messaging app to discuss top secret military operations
Convicted felons in positions of power
Unqualified men and women in critical government positions
Lies
Human rights abuses
Tyranny
Authoritarianism
Censorship
Fascism
Violence
Hatred
Racism
Food shortages
Global recession
Foreign death camps
Again, in November of 2024, the American public voted against the idea of “woke.” Today, we live in an officially “un-woke” society. “Wokeism” has been delivered a gut-punch.
Everything that's going on right now is the opposite of “woke.”
How's it working out?
As for me, every time the stock market crashes, or somebody I know gets hauled away to a foreign death camp, or I have to spend 20 bucks to buy a dozen eggs, I point and say, “That's the opposite of woke.”
It's bad enough that we have to live through this, but we can't allow them to win the messaging too. They're going to claim that things would have been worse if we'd “gone woke.”
At some point we have to respond, “What could possibly be worse than this?”
Maybe that's the key to ensuring we approach the future with our eyes open.
You know… awake?

I am gambling today by getting a block of cheese and some half 'n half since RFK has decided that checking dairy products is "woke". Hopefully, I will get ones that won't make me sick. <Crosses fingers> But freedom! AmIrite?
Woke opposite is aslupt. Or ignoramusant. Or deadulus. We should just make up a bunch of nonsensical words and start using them just like the gibberish of their aslupt leader.
