Republicans Have Declared War on the Constitution
We must resist, this was not the will of the people
We're in the middle of a constitutional crisis. The words of the Constitution were written to protect the people from a tyrannical government. Those words are being ignored by the Republican Party.
They're being erased.
They're being censored.
They're being defiled.
Unfortunately, these heinous acts are also being ignored by the many people in our government who are still committed to the absurd mindset that they have to work with
the very people that already attempted to overthrow the results of an election. The very people who routinely engage in vote suppression, and gerrymandering, and ballot disqualification, and the removal of drop boxes, and the fabrications of fraud.
And who lean on the legal system with frivolous lawsuits funded by bottomless pockets of uncertain origin.
The Republicans are destroying our freedoms. They've taken rights you haven't even realized are gone. They've eroded our right to buy eggs. They're dismantling our society. This has been their plan all along
When they repealed Roe versus Wade that was an attack on our privacy. The truth was disguised under sensationalized lies about the value of human life of which they truly care nothing.
The engine of that decision was always the removal of the right of every American citizen, man or woman or child, to be able to live without having the government looking in. We gave up that right and half of us cheered not knowing what they'd surrendered. Not caring until the harm of that decision is felt by them.
When that happens their rage will be diverted and they'll blame the very movement that tried to come to their aid. It happens again and again.
We've surrendered so much now. We've surrendered our power to our government and the government is not being gentle. It never has. Nor is it stopping. It's coming for more. It's coming for everything. Until we're left with nothing. As every oppressive government always has before.
The administration made an illegal order to stop all federal funding. They're disguising it with their performative defense of the border.
Federal money comes from blue states. It's distributed to the red. We pay for their emergencies, and they'd just as soon see us all dead.
Liberalism is the only thing that works. Nothing is produced by conservatives except hate and grievance and rage, and rude banners covered with expletives.
Uneducated people live in misery and the number is growing. They have a slight majority, living in poverty, flexing their hostility, to punish the very people, who show them mercy and charity. They favor the abusers, who put them in their holes and took away every chance they had of ever earning their prosperity.
The money flows one way, like a check valve, from the poor to the rich. Frustration is the only thing that stays and the less education they get the easier they are to convince that all their problems will go away if they vote in a tyrant.
Or a dictator, or a felon, or all three, in the form of one person who is as odious as a person can be.
Reagan repealed the fairness doctrine. The supreme court gave citizen rights to corporations. This put the process in motion but it's taken decades. And as bad as it is right now, it's not as bad as it's going to get.
Freedom dies in division.
We need unity.
We need to collectively decide that perhaps it is important to defend the truths of liberty, the truths held to be self-evident, that we have a right to certain freedoms. We have a right to an expectation that our government should protect and look after the interests of ALL the people, and not just those of the top one percent.
But people living in poverty have been duped, and we have a liberal elite that simply cannot conceive of the reality for people living in the squalor of conservative ideology.
I grew up in northern Wisconsin on a farm in a poor county. I'm as rural as rural can be, and I understand what the rural mind believes. Unlike the liberal elite. They need to start listening to me.
But unfortunately, I get shouted down when I offer a suggestion and try to build up from the ground. In these moments they show the same energy that they should be directing at fascism, But instead decide to waste it on me.
We have to look out for our rural neighbors who are being deceived. We have to stop the propaganda, the folks with degrees from ivy leagues cannot conceive how the uneducated can be deceived.
But look around.
Look at how many votes go that way.
I think the important thing to note is that the last election was close. It wouldn't take much effort for educated people to have their say. I feel the will of the people was denied and I think that's something we must keep in mind. We have to establish a shadow agency that puts blame where blame is due. Because the void of silence will be filled by liars who blame you.
You must be loud too!
There's still hope if we capitalize on the frustrations that are only growing because of inflation, other things too, when the threat of tariffs comes true. As federal funding is cut and rural areas are hit by these incompetent decisions based on petulance and shortsightedness and indifference, and the false need for punishment.
If we capitalize on that rising tide and we keep putting pressure in the right places,
you'll see a growing displeasure with the direction the country is taking.
So what we have to do is make sure the authoritarians are held accountable for every agony they inflict on the people.
With our messaging.
That starts with the mindset of the rational. Quit making apologetic claims. Quit covering every single little nuance. Instead, be bold and simple and make sure the guilty take the blame.
He didn't deliver. He said egg prices would be lower. He said he'd only be a dictator for a day. It's been many days and the dictator hasn't gone away.
The country is being ruined and the Republicans are shredding the Constitution. And the democrats need to find a more effective solution.
It's a mistake to dwell in hopelessness. Hopelessness is unproductive. You need to look for little wins. And if we could get agreement on a strategy among people who still care about democracy and freedom and the constitution and who would prefer not to see our whole society burned and condemned to oblivion…
If we could only agree. We have a path to victory and we have to recognize all of our little steps, the first being a consolidated mindset.
We have to appeal to rational people to stop giving ground, to start standing up for what is right, to object, to hold our leaders accountable when they make missteps.
Our Constitution is under attack. Our Constitution is being disrespected far worse than the flag has ever been disrespected. The founding ideals of our society are being ignored.
Daily.
The protections put in place to ensure that people could remain free are being violated.
Repeatedly.
By Republicans.
They're doing it openly and without apology. They're bragging about it like it's locker room talk. And they're going about it at a breakneck pace. So put yourself in the right mindset, become a factor in the race
Don't make apologies.
They are wrong.
They are at fault.
They are completely in control.
Everything that happens that is bad is entirely on them. Their leadership has been exposed. There's not a single hardship they're doing anything to fix.
This is not defending a dissertation, you're in a barroom brawl. That's where we are. We have to hold the seditionists accountable, first in our own minds, and then in the periodicals, on the feeds, in every broadcast, and in the conversations in our cubicles.
Finally at the polls, where it matters most.
We will not accept any future that does not have elections, so put that out of your head. We are not going to concede. We're not going to roll over and play dead. That's not how the American people respond to conflict.
The giant is asleep now.
But it will soon awaken.

Well and emotionally said Walter💪
Republicans control the area where I live. My father found out that I voted for Obama and it cost me the share of my inheritance that I expected. He told me when I walked in the door that it was going to be a tough election and he needed me to vote for HIS guy. When I told him I had already voted, he decided to give all of the silversmithing equipment that he had been teaching me to use for years, and promised to me, to my sister- who had never used it and did not know how, but she was a Republican. And then she had the gall to ask me to teach her how to use it. I despise people who are so obsessed with politics that they can treat their own family like garbage! Each and every one of us has the right to believe what we choose to believe! That is the main advantage of living in America! We MUST stop Trump from changing that!
