We Haven't Even Begun to Explore the Depths to Which the Political Right Will Descend
What everyone gets wrong about the confederacy of evil
The billionaires will try to shut me down. Your support helps!
I remember growing up with these people. If you had a decent upbringing, you can't comprehend the enduring trauma that's inflicted by monsters who try to make you believe their behavior is “normal.”
All the relatives I used to hang out with have been cut out of my life. Even so, I still get random strangers who look at that situation and assess that I must be in the wrong.
That's part of the mechanism of abuse that the creatures who run the political right have managed to install within us.
They’ve brainwashed us.
Good people don't want to see it. Good people don't want to rip the blinders away and understand the true depths of the depravity. That's how they end up with all their asinine platitudes. “Oh, it can't be as bad as you say.” “Oh, you're overreacting.” “Oh, there are bad people on both sides.”
All of that is nonsense. You don't know until you've seen the torture that the conservatives and the republicans are willing to stand for that you realize you're living in a horror show.
“Come on now, be fair, credit where credit is due, it's not all conservatives, it's not all republicans.”
YES. IT. IS.
Modern times have forced me to reassess a lot of past conflicts that I'd thought I'd resolved. I remember hanging out with cousins or uncles. Something awful would happen. I'd try to talk to somebody about it, and I'd always get the same shit.
“Well, you need to get over it. That's family. I'm sure it's not as bad as you say.”
These words were spoken by cowards. Cowards who themselves were too weak and irresponsible to probe the depths of evil in their presence.
Today we're surrounded by smirking demons. They are cesspools of vile behavior. They inflict lifelong trauma on innocent children. They do this while wearing suits and being awarded prizes and being treated with care in the media.
Why do we treat the monsters with care while we throw children to the wolves?
Probe the depths. Strip off the blinders!
When you grow up surrounded by people like that, you fortify yourself. You put up walls. You make an internal separation between your body and who you are as a person. That way, you can burn yourself and think that the enduring truth about you remains untouched.
They can't touch that.
You smirk even as they leave scars upon your flesh. “That means nothing you creature of filth. I'm a creature of light, you can't touch me.”
This is the kind of bullshit you have to say to yourself just so you can get through the day? Are you kidding me? And other people who think they're good people are blind to the fact that this is going on?
It's nauseating.
You've got little kids who get up in the morning, they eat their cereal, they watch some cartoons, and later on that day they have to do battle with the very demons of hell who have been allowed all the power in our society. Many of those demons are wearing the robes of the church.
“Not all the people who wear the robes of the church,” comes the chorus of enablers.
Screw you.
The sickest part is that I recognize all this from the perspective of a man. I know that women have had it worse. The traumas and the assaults are more frequent and more brutal. Our women survive and thrive and don't let these slimy creatures steal their existence. But damn, why do we have to make it so hard for everyone?
The most disgusting thing I see in the world today is the passive enablement of all this abuse. You've got people out there who won't denounce the evil that has been fused with our very cultural ideology. But these same people will rage for hours about how we can't have education for free. They'll rage about how we can't have healthcare reform.
Where is their activism when it comes to things that truly matter? Why won't they speak out against the malice and abuses that you have to be willfully blind not to see?
The creatures have come out into the light. We have felons and sex offenders running the government. They're inflicting agony on the innocent.
Yet still, so many people remain silent.
Still, so many people will blame the messengers and deny the warning rather than join the fight against evil.
I grew up with these people. You give them chance after chance after chance after chance. They always come back and hurt you. They inflict pain on you. Your body means nothing to them. You're just a husk they can abuse and cast aside. They don't think twice when you're gone.
You have them dead to rights 50,000 times. They plead for mercy and you give it.
But if there is even the appearance of wrongdoing on your part, they come down on you with the maximum power of the law, and then add an extra dose of excessive force.
To add insult to injury, they then try and claim that they were the warriors of justice and you were the monster all along. All those 50,000 other examples were just illusions. This... this one inconsequential misstep of yours contains the burning truth that will blaze for all eternity.
But that's not illumination, those are the fires of Hell.
I'm sick and tired of all the passive protections that we've all been conditioned to provide. We know that the church abuses people. We know that wealth is exploitation. We know that our children deserve food, shelter, and education.
What the hell is the cause of the resistance?
Why do we allow these evil minds to turn us in circles and make us accomplices to their nefarious schemes? Why are we so afraid to simply look at evil and call it for what it is.
What else can you call an administration that beats up on kids?
I'm sickened by what our society has become.
I'm sickened by the bad people.
But as far as I'm concerned, the worst are those that though they might be inclined by nature to be good, they sit on their hands and do nothing. They become creatures of sorry excuses rather than righteous action.
Folks, it's not that complicated. Wake the fuck up.

Yes, WTFU people! Democracy and justice are not spectator sports!
Thank you. Like the light shining on the coroner’s table, you are spot on. Like lung cancer from smoking: was totally preventable . But too few cared to be other than imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchy. We told ourselves that “we did not rob the bank” but we loved spending the money.
