Are Establishment Democrats the Ones Actually Running the President?

They're not doing a whole lot to oppose him now are they?

Please help me continue saying what needs to be said.

Our current dystopian reality has certainly ripped away the blinders that prevented us from seeing the true rot of our political system. As recently as 10 years ago, politicians still at least pretended to be decent human beings. They'd smile. They'd rent families so they could take wholesome looking pictures.

Not anymore.

Now we're stuck with scowling, smirking, smug and salacious villains who aren't even trying to hide their horns. They brag about extramarital affairs they paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to cover up. Their only regret comes from embarrassment over the fact that they once entertained the fleeting belief that they’d done something they needed to hide.

“My followers actually LOVE that I have to give money for sex. They hear that and think, 'That makes him just like me!'”

I can't help but wonder if there still won't come a breaking point. I mean, the January 6^th riot wasn't enough to deter the true believers. But maybe when politicians start showing videos of themselves having cocaine fueled blood orgies at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a few more voters will be awakened from their stupor.

Oh, I shouldn't use the word “awakened.” It's too close to “woke” and we all know “woke” has become a hypnotic trigger word of the right. I swear, conservatives remind me of the scene from the Winter Soldier when Bucky Barnes is being programmed while strapped into a chair.

Instead of saying, “Homecoming, one, freight car...”

They're saying, “Socialism, woke, DEI, patriotism, traditional values, faith...”

Meanwhile whatever good is left in their souls is unleashing screams of agony that end up echoing in the void.

What a mess.

First of all, the whole trick to navigating this hellscape is to completely ignore the antics of Mr. Distraction. Don't say his name. Don't say his number. It's as if he doesn't exist. In fact, he doesn't exist. They just pump him full of Adderall and prop him in front of a desk to sign death orders every day to the rousing applause of bleached blonde women wearing ginormous gold crosses around their necks.

Don't engage with liars, crooks, and dishonest men. They just pretend to want to understand your perspective, but all they really want to do is waste your time.

This is the thing the establishment Democrats pretend they haven't figured out. With all their fancy degrees and years of experience and looking down at us through the lenses of the glasses they wear on the tip of their nose, they haven't figured out that the Republicans are dishonest actors.

I call bullshit.

At this point, in the name of due diligence, we have to spend some time contemplating whether the establishment Democrats know exactly what's going on and approve of it.

Here's what I think. I think the extreme right is made up of puppets. The mastermind behind our descent into chaos is in the center.

“Don't look at us! Look at them! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Look, fascists and tyrants and nazis, oh my!”

“Well, are you going to do anything to stop them?”

Centrists Democrats, “No.”

Don't forget this all started when the Democratic establishment rigged a primary. Before you start throwing pitchforks at me, remember that a JUDGE said that. Not me, a JUDGE!

Unpack it, unpack it!

Here's what we have today. We have a radicalized right wing political movement that is committed to racism, ethnic cleansing, and ultimately genocide in pursuit of a “white” America.

I'm not even exaggerating. That's absolutely what they're doing.

Then we have a feckless, hopeless, indifferent centrist party that does nothing but sit there and say, “Look at how awful they are.”

The rest of us stand around screaming, “Aren't you going to do anything about it?”

They say, “We are doing something, we're pointing and saying they're awful.”

Now, before you jump down my throat, yes, I know that there have been individual exceptions. I know that Biden did a lot of good for this country. Bernie Sanders (who is an independent and not really part of this), has been doing great work for years. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jasmine Crockett, Pete Buttigieg and more are doing great work.

My problem is that the Democratic establishment refuses to offer the kind of fundamental change that's the opposite of what the radicalized right is pushing.

The DNC establishment isn't out there promising Medicare for all. They're not promising higher wages. They're not promising free education.

They're afraid of all these ideas because they don't want to be seen as going “too far left.”

But nobody ever complains about going “too far right.”

So, all that's left is for the rich jerks with ivy league degrees to get all snarky and tell us to “get over ourselves,” and lecture us whenever we try to talk about what we want because “they know better” because they're “smarter” than us. Then, every time they lose an election, they blame the progressives.

Recently, the establishment shut down Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from landing a seat on the House's Oversight Committee. She got passed over for Gerry Connolly who just died.

We NEEDED a strong voice on that committee!

The DNC basically handed the current administration a gift with their insistence on putting a man in poor health in that position.

What conclusion can you draw from that other than this was a deliberate act to help this tyrannical regime?

You don't need an ivy league degree to recognize Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was the better choice. More recently, the Democratic establishment roused themselves to try and boot David Hogg for actually advocating a strategy that might save America.

Why? Why would they do that?

Well, one possible explanation is that the Democratic establishment is the group secretly pulling the strings on the puppet president.

Let's float that accusation and make the Democrats respond to it. But rather than send us a “strongly worded letter” let's try to pressure them into taking some sort of aggressive action.

As it stands, the only time the DNC shows any backbone is when they go after progressives who actually offer a reasonable alternative to tyranny. That's the only time the centrists say, “Hey now, let's not get too extreme.”

But then the radical right marches along on its way to genocide and it's like the establishment doesn't even notice.

We've got a primary season coming up. We have to stop listening to all the lies and misdirection. We have to stop playing it safe. If you're fed up with the reality of our society, let's vote out all the old school politicians who got us into this mess. The Republican party is a disgrace, but the Democratic party sat passively and let this disaster happen. No more. It's time for a new generation of leaders.

Let's get a list from David Hogg and vote in a whole new Democratic party... one that will actually listen to the people. More importantly, one that will actually stand up and fight for this country!
