Thank you Walter for the introduction to your co-mentor Jason Provencio. With friends like you and Alison Acheson, he has the right vibe for me. Good writing with humor isn't easy. It's easier to do it in person when the other person can see your smile or wink and know it's not attacking you. Instead, it's a shared laugh at the universe or the unknown.
This is bullshit and you both know it. I've been on both Medium and SS. Medium is a complete was of time. The editors pick the same writers acting as the arbiters of taste. If the Medium overlords don't like your work, it's relegated to some algorithm ghetto. Substack is basically the same--if you write about the mind-numbing stupidity of American politics you'll make the banner everyday. Otherwise, SS is the same writer wasteland as Medium.
I'm enjoying these interviews, Walter! And am truly grateful for the mutual support and encouragement--thank you!

I haven't seen that I've been trending there. I don't think I've been tagging my stories with Elections, but I'll look for it in the future.
I'll be on the lookout for when I'm trending, getting the screenshots is a good idea :)
