It turns out that there are some skills you develop from a lifetime of social media that actually turn out to be useful :) I shouldn't have wasted my time reading all those books and taking all those classes.

This is bullshit and you both know it. I've been on both Medium and SS. Medium is a complete was of time. The editors pick the same writers acting as the arbiters of taste. If the Medium overlords don't like your work, it's relegated to some algorithm ghetto. Substack is basically the same--if you write about the mind-numbing stupidity of American politics you'll make the banner everyday. Otherwise, SS is the same writer wasteland as Medium.

I haven't seen that I've been trending there. I don't think I've been tagging my stories with Elections, but I'll look for it in the future.
I'll be on the lookout for when I'm trending, getting the screenshots is a good idea :)
