I never use his name, but everyone knows who I mean when I use the phrase "lying scumbag". Interesting how the cultists always tell on themselves, eventually.

Newsome? Or mayor yoga pants who apparently got replaced by someone more incompetent?

These traps are so easy to set. Also, I think it's a good practice to condition ourselves not to name our enemies. We need to discuss the injustices we want to combat. The other side is so good at drawing us away from productive conversation. We have to seize greater ownership of these battles. Sigh... I feel like I've had to completely reeducate myself in the last 2 months.

It's hard work but it's worth it, because ad hominem attacks go nowhere.

Thanks for sharing. As I commented elsewhere this morning, it's apparently now too political to state facts as well, because they're too "political." Interesting how some people consider factual statements debatable and insulting.

Yeah, it's terrifying actually. We have to keep stating facts. We can't fall into this mindset of spreading lies. The lies aren't going to save us.

There's definitely a lot of sniveling going on out there from some remarkably delicate folks whose skin is so thin they bleed when they breathe.

Walter, I love you. Keep it up. You’ve inspired to start doing this again. I was doing it way back in the Wannabe Regime Era of 2016-2020 but stopped because I decided it was a waste of time, energy, and personal sanity. But it really is fun to play words games with people who end being able to do nothing but virtually splutter.

See you around! Just look for Lysistrata.

I seriously enjoy the outcomes when I see these traps .. it is amazing I would say .. keep setting them, we will keep chuckling to ourselves .. until enough people start to reflect on themselves and wonder, just what in the devil did I fall prey to .. then just maybe some will change their tune!

I honestly expect the whole corrupt house of card to fall pretty hard and fast. With the level of greed and incompetence, it will simply be unsustainable. I think the turning point will be when 1) People's family members are targeted for deportation 2) People lose their social safety nets (Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, Veterans Benefits 3) They close the department of Education 4) They do away with childhood vaccines that have prevented polio, measles, etc. 5) The move forward with tariffs on everything

Any three of these and I think we are looking at something similar to the French Revolution- Off with their heads!

Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are going to bring out a current version of The Grey Panthers. You don’t want to piss off older folks who depend on benefits they spent their lives saving for. PLUS, they’re retired and have all the time to rain hell on anyone who tries that. Seriously. Want to lose power really, really fast? Screw around with that demographic and you will pay, painfully and repeatedly. And they won’t let anyone forget it as long as they live!

Yeah don't know about that. People in general and Republicans specifically are too stupid to even realize who's causing them pain without a you tube video to explain it. So yeah when someone says, let them eat cake, are they gonna know who and what to blame and who's head to take?

Expand full comment
Sarah3000's avatar

If it's painful enough, they should be able to figure out that the Republicans are to blame because they're those ones in charge. Also, the rest of us may unite and do something about it. Desperate people do desperate things.

I've shared my sketchbook blue-ink drawings of cats or rabbits etc - without any text - and had right-wing people angrily assume I was being critical of them and their dear leader. I don't reply and I block and delete them... while laughing. Assuming everything - including drawings - revolves around you/your ideology and also being super sensitive to everything is a neon blinking huge self-own. 😆😆
