About 1 in 4 Americans believe that violence is necessary to fix our country’s problems. 1 in 3 republicans believe this while 22 percent of independents and 13 percent of democrats also believe this. So it’s not surprising that our country is normalizing violence. When a major political party has embraced domestic groups who have and are actively willing to commit domestic terror in order to reach their goals. Fear is a powerful tool. It Silences the objectors and motivates the suppressors. That’s why every despot in the world uses it.
