It’s so interesting that you posted this; my work friends and I just had an interesting conversation on how we REALLY could understand why people leave money to their pets. Pets just want food, love, water and shelter. Well, and maybe treats and a paw on the remote. Their demands are needs not unnecessary wants. The way many family members have treated my children and myself , well, let’s just say I’d disown them and keep my children and pets.
What a beautiful story, Walter! I am a huge animal lover and supporter. I believe that man's best friend is his dog. The loyalty and unconditional love are beyond belief. Also, the stray that your neighbor took in then died, and he is now watching over him unconditionally for the love and appreciation he gave to him.
