I loved this piece Walter as always everything you write is fabulous. I will say I am impressed with your physical strength. I could never do all of that. It is inspirational to say the least as I wish I could get myself back in good health and shape. I just seem unmotivated. But your post gives me hope. Thanks for sharing friend. Blessings. :) :) Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wife and your children and family. :) :)
Thank you Bill! Last year we didn't have snow so I started walking 10,000 steps a day. It's amazing how much better you feel. I'd do things like park at the far end of the grocery store lot to get extra steps. Try it and let me know how it goes!
Great story! And in my book, you are all superhuman! I felt extraordinarily blessed not to have died getting up to the top of Huayna Picchu. I can only imagine your journey! (Funny detail: when we got to the top of Huayna Picchu, someone else was there. A little guy in boots and shorts with suspenders who was catching butterflies in a net for the British Museum. Interesting conversation ensued.)

You are a great story-teller. Write away. And so nice to get away from the political dreck of the last couple of years.
Thanks Dan!

Thank you that's very nice. Yes Huayna Picchu can be a bit extreme in parts!
Returning of course from Machu Picchu...

Walter, it is a gorgeous account of running!!! On the Inca Trail. Even if we were in such a fitness level, we couldn
