This is so sad. So true for today. My grandfather and grandfather in law were old timers and would have given the shirt off their back to help anyone in need. Now that seems not to be how it's done anymore. They choose to harm themselves rather than lifting others.
They always said that about my grandfather too, but I wonder if even that was true. if people in the US really wanted to help each other, we’d have universal healthcare.
I agree to that. I've said that many times to others. I even had a strong discussion with my BIL when Hillary was working on Healthcare while Bill Clinton was president. I guess he knew not to reply because he shut his mouth. Sometimes people just say the wrong thing and while I don't curse and scream, they get my message.
