Well said. It's hard to face hard truths. It's much easier to go on about your day and pretend to be unaffected. That's how my mind has been since the election. But I can see now that that time is past and it's time to get busy again.

I've been wallowing in depression since the election. Now, I feel more numb, but I keep finding things to write about.

We all should have been feeling as you do now since Ronnie Rayguns. Or whenever one came along at the age to vote afterwards. If Dems would have proposed the best policy practices you mentioned anytime since Ronnie, they would have won elections and had the opportunity to implement them.

C'mon man.

I think that is where you have to figure out what you can do based on what resources you have and what you are able to tolerate when it comes to dealing with some of this stuff.

You don't want to burn yourself out. That will not help anything.

I am angry and will pause to see what happens but I disagree about violence - there is always a time when violence is the only solution
