Republicans Are About to Realize That They Are the Parasitic Welfare Class
What are farmers going to do when conservatives come to steal their land?
Republicans are coming to steal your family farm.
I feel bad for you.
Even though I've warned you all these years. I've said to everybody I know who's a farmer that they shouldn't vote Republican because it is an ideology of cruelty. The thing about farmers and the thing about Republicans is that they're always sitting there complaining about a welfare class. But then they forget that they receive massive subsidies from the government.
Our food supply is not something that can be left to the fluctuations of a market. It's not like a car dealership. It's okay for a car dealership to go out of business because nobody has money to buy cars.
We can get cars someplace else.
We can't have a shortage of food. So decades ago, the government created a farming subsidy system. The fact of the matter is that farmers are a welfare class. There's nothing wrong with that. That's the way some industries work.
But for some inexplicable reason, farmers have demonized that term.
It's made them blind.
It's made them easy to control.
We have to accept the fact that farming is one of those industries that requires government support. It's too important to trust to market fluctuations. But now that you've elected an unethical monster who wants to inflict pain on everybody, you're going to see why, all those years ago, we thought it important to help farmers get by.
Farmers have made it their identity to hate welfare classes. Somehow they've managed to cultivate this ideology while simultaneously exempting themselves.
Conservatives always want to claim exemptions for themselves.
Today, a reckless, irresponsible tech bro is gleefully taking a chainsaw to all of our federal funding. He's cutting programs that people depend on. He's destroying them without fully understanding the purpose they serve. He's doing this without any regard for the consequences.
I mean, it's both comical and revealing that at no point are the tech bros cutting any of the massive subsidies that go to the artificial creation of billionaires.
Yes, billionaires are the biggest welfare class of them all.
The tech bros are not cutting out PPP loans. They're not cutting out bailouts. They're not cutting out inflated government contracts. They're only cutting the programs that assist farmers to get new machinery, to be safe, to pay for their crops, to pay for the food that feeds the nation.
They're cutting the programs that allow loyal conservatives to keep their farms.
FAFO.
Even though all these years, I've had to endure being called a bleeding heart liberal, and that's the only one I'm going to repeat because most of the other things I'm called by Republican farmers are profanities, I take no pleasure in their imminent pain. Even though they insult my intelligence and disparage the race of my children.
I still feel bad for them.
I did everything I could to prevent their demise.
I didn't do the right thing for thanks, I did it because it's the right thing to do.
Farmers accuse people of having mental deficiencies, they make a wide variety of ableist claims because conservatives don't model respectful behavior.
But even though I've had to endure that for years, I still feel bad for you guys. I don't want to see you kicked off your land. I don't want to see you having to cry and realize how your identity has been stolen by the cruelty of a government that you put into power.
I feel bad for you still.
This is the essence of what a decent person does. When my children make a mistake, I don't abuse them. I don't hate them. I gently correct their behavior because above all else I want to spare them pain.
This is a teachable moment.
I want to prevent them from having to feel pain. When they make a mistake, I help them get back on track as soon as possible. Because this life is not a competition, it's a cooperation.
I want to help you farmers and you conservatives get back on the right track. I want to help you to stop idolizing criminals and pedophiles and rapists. Come join the side of decent people. You've lived off our charity all your lives. It's only today that you have to face the truth of that.
We have to cooperate with each other. Even though people have been misguided and they've caused themselves tremendous harm, we can learn and resume our journey to progress. The idea is that, hopefully, you'll be able to see the error of your ways at this point.
You have to stop demonizing classes of people and then thinking you're exempt from that group. When you put hate out into the world, hate comes back to you.
Everybody needs a little assistance now and then. Farmers need it and they produce food. Billionaires don't need it because they produce nothing. But when you put billionaires in charge, they call farmers parasites and take the money so they can give more to themselves.
Lesson learned.
Teachable moment.
The lie about the rugged individual needs to die.
We all have our moments of strength and our moments of weakness. Yeah, you're going along in life, you're doing the best you can, and then tragedy strikes. When tragedy strikes, we need the help of our community and our government, and our friends, and our family.
So it's absurd and offensive to sit there and only keep a record during your moments of strength. It's disrespectful to dismiss the moments you've needed help and indulge in the mockery of others. Everybody struggles. Everybody needs help.
That's why it's called a community.
We have to help our neighbors.
We can't mock them and deride them and call them “parasites.” That's rude.
A moment of struggle is going to come to you inevitably because that's the way life is. We have the rug pulled out from under us. It doesn't take much.
You could be on your way to work. You could slip and fall and break your arm. That could put you into severe financial distress. You can't work, so you might have to rely on social benefit programs to get through. An accident shouldn't be the reason you lose everything.
In fact, it's more efficient if we have systems in place to help people navigate rough waters. We want to get people back on track rather than strip away all the social benefits for some sort of absurd illusion of savings.
The reality is when people don't have access to assistance through tough times, they collapse. We lose them. They completely drop out of society. They make no contribution whatsoever.
It's to our benefit to help. That's why it's to our benefit to have quality education so that we can teach people valuable skills so that they can get ahead. We need to have social funds that go to help farmers so they can keep their land and they can keep their identity, and we can have food to eat.
This is a good system. But farmers hate what they call the welfare class even though they are the welfare class. They work hard, but everybody on welfare works hard. Everybody's going through a hard time. Struggling people work harder than anybody.
They certainly work harder than billionaires.
All billionaires know how to do is destroy.
Let's have some grace for people who have fallen on tough times. Let's have some compassion. Let's treat them like they're human beings. Let's treat them as we would wish to be treated.
I hope, I hope, I hope that it doesn't come out as bad as it looks like it's going to. But we have a government that is fixated on cruelty for cruelty's sake. They want to hurt vulnerable populations.
The majority of Republicans are a vulnerable population.
That's the terrible irony of this last election. Many of the people who voted this cruel administration into power, are going to be the ones who suffer for it. Then again, career criminals take things that don't belong to them. That includes elections. That's why we shouldn't allow felons to run for president.
Now is the time for those of you who have recognized that you made a mistake, to practice accountability. Model accountability for your kids. Recognize who brought your pain upon you because it wasn't immigrants and it wasn't the LGBTQ+ community and it wasn't liberals.
It wasn't any of the things the Republicans have warned you against. It was the Republicans who did this to you. It is Republicans and conservatives who hate you and want to punish you. Remember that the next time you get an opportunity to vote.

Excellent premise: “Life is not a competition, it’s a cooperation.”
I wouldn't count on it. If Jan 6 wasn't enough of a wake-up call for magas, then they're totally on board with trump. Don't care what they say in private about their "concern". Their actions are, and have been loud and clear!!!
