Thank you, Walter. The hour we spent together was the most memorable, stimulating and interesting conversation I have had in years. Yes, we definitely need to see many more STEM experts, especially scientists, being interviewed, sitting on panels, and getting involved in the national discourse — on STEM subjects, for sure. But just as a religious leader, celebrity or pop star is asked about their opinion on a variety of subjects, so should be the scientist. The scientific community is educated to ask questions, look for evidence and data, and dig deep into the facts to draw a logical, reasoned, and evidence-based conclusion. Looking forward to the day when this happens; the world will be a better place for it.

Thank you Robert! I don't get as many opportunities as I'd like to approach the problems of the world from the scientific perspective, and it's always enlightening to do so! Yes, I feel the same way as you, I've been thinking about what we chatted about since we talked! It's ridiculous that the scientific community is only rarely given a seat at the table in the media. They're the one group that is capable of offering an unbiased opinion. When we figure that out as a society, we'll start to see greater prosperity for all!

Thank you always bringing ideas forward that we need to embrace. As I closed each school day with my children, I would say, "Learn something new today." I also taught technology and STEM to students for several years. As always, Stay curious my friends! It's hiw we thrive.

I believe that the STEM program for high school students are great. As a former math and science teacher before becoming an RN I felt with good teachers science was a great subject for future use and employment. My granddaughter graduated high school with honor from the STEM program she was in and also had dual enrollment so her first 2 years of college were complete at time of graduation from high school. Shejust graduated her BS and is continuing with her masters. If a student wants to get ahead that is something that here in Pinellas County Florida is available to students. Dual enrolled saves as they don't have to pay for the college credits as they are getting them while in high school with classes taken in high school . It's a big savings. As you said science is very import for truth and honesty.

Thank you, Teri. I definitely believe if many more people understand and embrace the scientific method as a way to address all issues and problems we face the conclusions and outcomes would be better on all accounts. I just posted a blog to my website that might be interesting to you:
