I’m having trouble managing my own life goals and health challenges in the face of the outrageous directions our country is going, recklessly hurting people with the least resources and options.
I’m feeling sad for people who put their trust in what leaders promised to do to others, not realizing they would suffer the same fate since they were unknowingly part of the targeted group.
I’m even sadder for people who were already struggling with mental health issues and are now losing access to healthcare that gave them a chance of healing. Example: the 20ish year old young friend recently committed suicide when she was evicted after 3 days in the hospital because it was the limit of what her plan would cover. Whew!
