The gutless members of Congress that have an R be there name are the major concern. Every last one have proven that they don't have the guts to represent the people who elected them.
I agree that it is his handlers we should fear. He always wanted weathy folks to like him and they considered him nouveau riche trash. In some ways i feel sorry for him. He told his hotel owning friends he wouldn't take the good employees and his handlers made him take it back. But we got a glimpse of the old, safer, people pleaser who was, at one time, a Democrat.
That was a wonderful message. One that inspires me to stay calm and presevere. Trolls like Trump feed on our fears. It's the only nourishment they get (other than a Big Mac).
About the only thing positive about Drumpf 2.0 is it is introducing me to a wonderful cast of interesting new writers. And Walter Rhein is one of them! How we handle this insufferable bastard going forward will decide the fate of our once great nation. The good ones, like Walter, are working hard to delegitimize this money-hungry, craven fool and take him down, one clever column after another. Meanwhile, the rest of us need to do whatever we can to ensure them that we have their backs and support their tireless and pithy efforts!
There are two ways this can go...either he is just bluffing and we can ignore him or he will actually follow through. If he follows through he will be stopped by the millions who are sick of his antics. His vindictiveness is exactly what will lead to the demise of his power. Seventy percent of Americans will rally to run him out of town.

Once his followers figure that out (and I can’t understand what has taken them so long,) he’s done. I think that may be sooner rather than later. His sycophantic coattail hangers-on are another matter. Facultative parasites. Sadly, our gov’t is full of those. And until we figure out a way to really hold them accountable (not just get them out of office, but HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE) they’ll keep popping up. Watch Rachel Maddow’s podcast “Ultra”. Deja vu all over again. This time, accountability is key!
I’m sick of felon Drumpf. I despise his fat orange face and his incoherent speeches. Three and half insane years for him to continue creating chaos and havoc.
I read on several Substack posts that the soldiers purposely did not march s the racist wanted them to protest against them in their own quiet way. These were from former vets who still hand friend in the military. One said his sergeant friend from Ft Brag who was with the troops Saturday were doing it in defiance of dumpf. I love that they made the unified decision.
So why do Democrats get slurred for being the Party that wants to govern? It's better than being the party that wants to destory us, so the people voting for that are the bigger problem.
8647 is nothing to be feared. He is a tired, extremely ill , physically and mentally, old man. He has no clue how to govern. He has no clue how anything works, that is why P2025 stepped up and stepped in to reign their terror of bad bills and government destruction on us. He is not to be feared. He is not to be revered. He is pathetic and with my tiredness might pity him one day. Today is not that day. Nor will tomorrow bring forth that emotion. I will continue my peaceful, easy feeling and also protest like it is the 1970’s. That’s how it is done. That is how we fight this ridiculous excuse of human form.
I still believe that every time he posts something, everyone should just respond, “Another country heard from.” What he has to say doesn’t reflect the majority of our country but it does just that for another one.
I'm looking forward to the future times when we look back at the anxiety the election brought about and our buy-in that Democracy would be gone. I look forward to sharing laughs with people over our collective belief in his power. The power of the storyteller. Well, we are taking back the narrative!
New term I heard that would be a great incorporation into the lexicon: SECDEF drunk. It's so clear that it doesn't need an explanation for anyone even partially paying attention the the antics of Kegstand Pete.
