They are the ones who consider democrats as evil. The country is split in two with both sides howling at the moon. It will take a long time for that rift to heal. Families and friendships are broken. Just listening to them now quoting the Project 2025 manifesto and how they’ll be implementing it is sickening.
That could change. Everyone has their limits, Walter. We've seen that the law doesn't matter to at least 40% of the electorate, our legislatures, and our judges. Why should we care about flouting the law now, when we'll have a criminal in our White House and several in the judicial branch?
I'm trying. I just wish Joe would break a little "tradition" and try to do something bold from the Oval Office to thwart some of what's coming. He's been in politics so long, that his copy of the Constitution is moldy, his traditions bastardized beyond belief. Not to at all discount Joe's performance, policies, ethics, morals, or love of USA. I just wish he could bring himself to exit his political career with a huge f'in bang! Like a change to SCOTUS... or something else that would present a challenge to their ruling on the executive immunity for trump.
