It’s 5 am and I woke up with worrying. I cannot believe the constant lies and projection that come from the other side. Playing out a Trump win in my mind is utterly terrifying.

Then, the first thing read when I started my day was this. Thank you.

We are all in this together, my vote has been cast and my postcards to voters in swing states have been sent. I’m going to go enjoy some coffee now.

We have got a lot of options. I feel the stress and anxiety too, but I wanted to remind people that we are resilient and we're not going down without a fight.

I've already made my choices for our national/state/area/local races through vote411.org and printed my cheat sheet to take to the poll with me later today. I think you're right that I'll feel much better once my vote is cast. Thanks for the reminder that the world will still be beautiful and my loved ones will still be lovable on Nov. 6.

Yes! Be positive. Fill your heart with gratitude. We are together. We have allies. I'll be voting in 1 hour, and that will be a moment to celebrate!

I did a very similar post. Breathe. Enjoy the small things. The real things. Either way, the fight for truth will continue.

And yes I am very bullish (optimistic if you dislike Wall Street metaphors) on our future!

I believe in the power of positive thinking. The Harris/Walz campaign has infused so much joy and hope into the zeitgeist. It’s exhilarating to feel bad again. I’m cautiously optimistic that we’re going to see a blue tsunami. And the cautious part is only about 5%, with 95% optimistic. We all need to be and envision the change we want. I’d rather be wrong in my optimism, than succumb to anxiety and fear.

I voted yesterday, and I felt hopeful again. Then I woke up this morning with that familiar feeling of dread. After reading your reminder while having my coffee, I again have a feeling of hope. Thank you.

We voted this morning, but I did wear my "Make Lying Wrong Again" hat. Have been getting smiles and 'thumbs up' all day. That seems like a good sign. You can tell who the MAGA folks are. They just glare and look away. They know it's meant for them but can't argue the point.

Saw this one yesterday:

"Remember that he kept America's secrets in boxes in his shitter. That's what he thinks about America." - Barry Gander

Very, very good article. My sister gave me the same basic advice. I've been spending too much time at home, in front of a computer, getting worked up over every story and poll about the damn election. I am now starting to go out more, do more of my writing at the library (my happy place) and not even look at my IPhone or at the internet unless it's to research something. I already have a heart condition and diabetes to boot, so I really don't need to get stressed out with all this crap.

Yes, don’t get stressed. Do all you can and then leave it alone. Strength to you! We got this!
