Let’s hope that we have a roof over our heads when they’re gone.

At least those that bully - many in his cabinet are just an extension. Trump makes them feel as though they matter.

Totally agree w you have to fight back and stop being afraid of the threats.

"I get the sense that most of our politicians (the men anyway) have never been bullied."

Which, in many cases, is true, since the children of wealthy people often are educated at private schools with their own "kind", and bullying is somewhat less common there. Or they use their family's wealth as a shield against personal blame (e.g. Princess Morbucks from "The Powerpuff Girls").

However, in at least one case, they have absorbed the idea that bullying is part of making the "deals" they want to make, and they expect compliance with their browbeating. When they are confronted with people who will NOT comply to such tactics, they don't apologize but instead double down on those tactics, which only makes them seem even more intolerant of concepts and ideas that are not their own.

I think some act this way because they were stuffed in lockers and now have power - rich silver spoon brats yes - but they are all small little men- I bet they fit in school lockers just fine

I think we have a couple different types of bullies - Trump who is a malignant narcissist who was psychologically abused at home. Then you have musk and the tech bros- mostly spoiled and rich but small and I am sure nerdy in school- now they have power and want retribution. Then there are those in congress who hide behind the bully but are just as bad- for sure speaker Johnson was shoved into more than one locker - I want to put him in one now.

So yes some bullies like Trump never grow up, some bullies we create because they now have some economic or social bully pulpit and a desire for retribution, and then there are the mike Johnson’s - still get figuratively stuffed into lockers but still think they are powerful

All of them need serious mental health interventions. However there is no cure for malignant narcissism.

I wonder... Maybe you're right, but I get the sense that bullies don't get stuffed into lockers. Maybe they were beaten up at home?

Sen. Ron Wyden announced that he will be hosting an “open-to-all town hall” on Tuesday, instead of attending Trump’s rant in front of a joint session of Congress. Wyden said: “If you’re looking for something to do … besides watching Trump lie for two hours, all are welcome to tune in.”

Thousands of us will be joining!

You’re so right! Narcissists try to appear tough on the outside, but they are hollow on the inside. Crack them open!

Yup! Bullies keep pushing because they're so afraid that they'll crumble when you stand up to them.

Exactly right! Zelensky definitely looked stronger and more in charge than that buffoon and his rabid attack dog. Bullies gotta bully, they have nothing else. We don’t have to take it

"You saw this with Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy came to the Oval Office completely ready to make a deal."

How does it feel to be a war pig, Walter? The French Foreign Legion is hiring. You can go save Ukraine, if your tough talk is worth anything at all.
